Avoid spaces and special characters (! @ # $ % ^ & *) as they may cause errors in certain systems. Instead, use underscores _ or hyphens -.
Include dates or version numbers when necessary (e.g., ProjectReport_v2_2025-09-01.pdf).

Organizing Files into Folders and Subfolders

Create a structured folder system to categorize files logically.

Keep the hierarchy simple and consistent across teams or departments.

File Extensions
